Our Story
Well, i got mocho as a fat 7 year old. her owner had bought another horse, so mocho was left to eat..pretty much what she did.
We she arrived, she was pretty sweet. i was new to horses and i learnt ALOT in the first 2 weeks.
But, hey, it was pretty mcuh fools gold. she had a tendon injury that either the last owners had failed to tell us about or they didnt know - she had a tendon injury. and she stuffed it up while galloping around in the paddock. so that ment 2 months of no riding - sucked balls.
after that, i had lost ALOT of confidence, i wouldnt even trot on her. but losts of bareback remedied this and i was soon away, laughing.
After all winter jumping and gaining confidence, i thought. what the heck, lets do a show! so i did. came away with one ribbon (4th) but i had heaps of fun
After that, i was really really busy with school cmap, exams and mocho had a sore back, probably due to the saddle we ued to used, so she wasnt ridden for ages. she just sat in the paddock, looking quite neglected.
during the holidays, i worked on getting her back into work. since cshe was going well, i entered her in a show.
but that was stopped due to me being sick.
i was totaslly freaking out, i had a show in 3days and my horse hadnt been ridden in 2c weeks. somehow, i manged to pull us together and we went to the sdhow - no ribbons, but it was a great learning curve for both of us.
so ive had my darling for 2 years now, and the futrue is looking gooood.
if ya wanna chat about horses anytime, im happy to talk about my passion.
thanks for reading haha
